CHINESE JUNKS

The term Junk comes from the Chinese "Jung," meaning floating home, not because the boats were lousy. This site provides descriptions, history, the address of the Junk Rig Association and a very extensive and scholarly bibliography of books, drawings and articles. It even provides instructions on how to buy scale model plans from the Smithsonian ($3 to $13). An awful lot of work went into creating this site.
