BLUESBLITZ: NOTHIN' BUT THE BLUES

BluesBLITZ describes itself as the "source for blues on the Web." Given the wealth of content presented on this site, that is definitely the case. Part of the MusicBLITZ network of sites, this site has something for everyone, whether you're a novice or hardcore blues fan. While reading the history of blues or checking out an article on blues legends, you can listen to the BluesBLITZ Radio station or download featured (and legal) MP3s. The site also features links to other blues- related sites and a glossary that will hip you to terms such as "chicken shack" (a honkytonk with music, liquor and food) and "corn" (moonshine liquor). I really liked this site because it gave me a great deal of information on a music style that I'm not usually exposed to. I will definitely be back!
