Almost everyone has heard of Louisiana's great boiled Crawfish. These very versitile little mudbugs grow wild in our back bayous and swamps of Southern Louisiana, and they offer us a wide variety of dishes to serve to our families and friends. At Fruge's Cajun Crawfish site, you will be escorted by "Boudreaux," the pet crawfish of the site's hosts. Here you will find history, recipes, cooking and eating tips, and even a free drawing (for 10 pounds of these delicious critters), in addition to their ordering page. But before you check out the site, let me clear up a myth about original Cajun food. Everyone is led to believe that Cajun food is supposed to be HOT. This is very WRONG! Cajun food is supposed to have abundant flavor from the seasonings and ingredients. Real Cajun food is not supposed to burn your taste buds so you can't appreciate the true taste of the dish. So go easy on the hot sauce!
