The Playwriting Seminars is an excellent resource for both novice and experienced playwrights alike. The site contains loads of valuable information on the craft and business of playwriting. Richard Toscan, Dean of the School of the Arts Virginia Commonwealth University, provides the content for the site and he does an excellent job of providing motivation and suggestions for writing a play from scratch or improving a play that is already written. Selected topics include: developing content, play structure, writing technique, editing/rewriting and play formatting. In addition, Toscan discusses ways to successfully market your play for production or publication. This is a truly exceptional site in the amount of quality information it provides to any writer interested in the playwriting form.
