HDVD?

As if DVD wasn't already sharp enough for you, hDVD is around the corner. Sonic Solutions and Ravisent Technologies have teamed up to bring consumers the first HDTV capable DVD technology. The two companies are combining their know-how on MPEG decoding/encoding and DVD technology to make high-definition DVD a reality. They claim video resolution will be as much as four times sharper than current DVD technology. The companies state that this is the next step for DVD.
