Number of Female Gamblers to Increase in the UK

A recent MORI poll suggests that there will be an increase in female gamblers in the UK due to the availability of Internet gambling. One in eight women said they would gamble online. Twelve percent of teenage girls said they would be more likely to wager over the Internet than visit a bookmaker. The reason? Internet gambling is safe, anonymous, and more appealing than smoky betting rooms filled with men.
