IMOVIE FREE FOR ALL

Apple's pricing policy has been much like Microsoft's recently, charging for minor upgrades, charging for downgrades (the G4 debacle), and charging for every other thing you can think of. To prove that they're not Microsoft yet, they've done something unthinkable: they announced they will be offering iMovie, the popular video editing tool, for free to any PowerBook or Power Mac G4 user. This free iMovie release is a pleasant surprise, and another great way for Apple to increase its presence in the video editing market. It'll also get them nice press coverage.
