TASTING SHEETS

Site: http://www.stratsplace.com/tastesheet.html

Tasting wine can befuddle the senses. Taking a structured approach pays dividends, and the easiest way to do this is to use a tasting sheet. These encourage you to follow a standard approach and in time they build up to a valuable record of the wines you have tasted and your opinion of them. Art and Betsy Stratemeyer have developed a tasting sheet that can be printed and copied on both sides, allowing notes on four different wines to be recorded on one piece of paper. And they also have tasting sheets donated from others. There are simple sheets, ones adapted from those used by Michael Broadbent and Hugh Johnson, and one with lists of descriptive words. All are freely downloadable in several different formats. Definitely worth a visit.
