Sometimes the most interesting websites are the most obvious--and sometimes the most obvious places to research go overlooked. The U.S. Government has provided over 70 online collections for your perusal, covering topics ranging from Agriculture to Technology. These collections include a variety of short essays and primary source documents from all periods of U.S. history. This site is student and adult friendly, and is paid for by Americans' hard-earned tax dollars. Although sometimes this page is a little cumbersome, the information and format deserve our attention, for both the information held within and as a showcase for U.S. tax money being spent in a positive, useful way.
