Top » Self-Help & PsychologyGet Motivated, Learn a Foreign Language, Improve YSite: http://greatday.com/motivate/index.htmlOUR WRITING! Yes, you can do all three of these things in one session. Here's how: 1) Find a website that gives you a daily pep talk in a foreign language. 2) Go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/cgi-bin/translate? and translate the pep talk into English. 3) Rewrite the machine translation in good English. Doing the translation will help impress the positive thoughts on your mind and improve your writing skills as well. Here's a specific example. 1. I went to German edition of "The Daily Motivator" http://www.motivationszitate.com/ . 2. I translated it into English with babelfish, getting this interesting prose: "Frustration with frustration to fight, or, will make annoyance with annoyance only many worse all. If you frustrate the events and circumstances, and you on that concentrate, which is false in the life and which does not function, then is it time to modify the course." 3. I rewrote it in my own words, improving the English: "Fighting frustration with frustration or annoyance with annoyance only makes matters worse. If you are frustrated with events and circumstances and you concentrate only on things which aren't working out, then its time to try something different." If this is too much work for you, then you might want to go to the English version of "The Daily Motivator," which you can find at: http://greatday.com/motivate/index.html. This site also includes links to positive resources, 1000+ past positive messages, and a special offer for webmasters. Tue, 16 Nov 1999 13:35:03 -0800
