Before you submit your work, make sure the magazine doesn't have a history of blowing off authors. You'll save yourself a world of time and trouble. If you've recently received a response from a publisher, whether prompt or late, do the rest of us a favor and add your own data. As if that wasn't enough, profits from ad banners here are donated to the American Red Cross. Now if only I could find a page like this for non-genre markets.
