If you fancy a little thrill of fear, look no farther than the Gothic Garden. Creator Alice Day (a deceptively innocent name, don't you think?) created a Lucky Thirteen list of unique themes, from the Little Greenhouse of Horrors to The Somber Garden (imagine all black and blood- red flowers and you'll get the idea). The directions on how to age pots and statuary are especially nice (encourage moss growth with buttermilk), and can be found in the Potpourri section. You'll get lost in this web page, even if you're the cheerful sort. Chances are you can find one little thing to tempt you into a jolly decadence.
