WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO AXL ROSE?

According to a recent Rolling Stone article, Axl Rose is alive and well and living in Malibu. Apparently, he has been working on the next Guns 'n' Roses album for the past six years. None of the original band members are involved, and there seems to be a steady stream of musicians in and out of Axl's life, including Zak Wylde, who finally gave up and went to work on Black Label Society. Those who have heard recent tracks say they sound great. So why is he holed up in his Malibu digs, isolated except for his psychics? Good question. This is the saddest story I have heard in a long time. I am and always will be a diehard G 'n' R fan, and I believe that anything Axl writes has potential.
