LONE STAR VINO

I am going to Austin, Texas for six weeks. Top on my list of things to do is to find out about the wine situation there. I was delighted to find this site, which has the good news that not only are there some 38 wineries in Texas, but there is also a thriving community of wine lovers. The Wine Society of Texas is a non-profit association that promotes wine education and enjoyment. I have never tasted a Texan wine, but I aim to rectify that just as soon as I can. And I'll be using this site as the starting point to find out all I can about Texan wines.
