Kaleidoscapes is for home schoolers. It also bills itself as being for "unschoolers" (you know who you are). Education professionals may reel in horror from the site, but it is eclectic, interesting, and useful. It has more categories (generally message and chat boards) than can be listed in a brief review, but the more important or useful ones listed at the site are the Main Board, Newbie FAQ Board, Curricula, Science, Unit Studies, Compliance, and Special Needs. Check out the site to learn more about what it has to offer. Homeschooling is a growing movement. If you are interested in the topic, this is the best place to begin.
