I was thrilled when I read this article entitled "Clinic Offers Canine Rehab," which is about one of the less than two dozen pet rehabilitation centers in the U.S. To be honest, I had never really thought of the idea of pets receiving physical therapy following surgery, yet I have to admit it makes perfect sense. Ultrasound, deep heat therapy, electrical stimulation, working on the treadmill, and water therapy are some of the types of therapy that take place at a pet rehabilitation center such as the one you will read about. This article will truly captivate you, as it did me, with stories of pets that would not have recovered as successfully--or at all--without physical therapy.
