SHOOTING THE ULTIMATE OUTDOOR SUBJECT

Site: http://www.outdoorphotographer.com/content/pastissues/2000/may/f

Some new ways of shooting "Flowers: The Ultimate Outdoor Subject" are outlined in an article by Rob Sheppard and photographer George Lepp in the current online issue of Outdoor Photographer. By combining a 24mm or wider wide-angle lens with a thin 8mm or 12mm extension and moving in close, you get an image that's "like you're standing on the edge of the flower looking in." Articles from back issues are also available on this information-rich site, which has search capabilities as well as numerous buttons for product information, links, travel and workshops, a glossary, favorite places, submissions, and, of course, subscriptions.
