FOR ANY ADVENTUROUS KID...!

Discovery Kids (DK) is a website about adventure and discovery. DK encourages kids to seek adventure in the world around them, then provides a forum connecting them with other kids doing the same. The first thing to do is take a fun quiz rating their adventurer type. Then, kids of similar type are placed on one of five teams, each with their own unique home pages and adventure ideas. Explorers build a personalized list of adventures from ones suggested at their home page then pursue them in the real world. When they complete the adventure, they jump back into cyberworld and share their discoveries with peers via the team's Bulletin Board. No worries here, Parents. Kids aren't allowed to exchange personal information and all postings are carefully screened. What are these adventures like? Well, if you're thinking bungie jumping or skydiving, relax! They include things like building a treehouse, riding a wicked rollercoaster, or learning 10 constellations. Any young person looking for adventure is sure to find it here.
