HARRY POTTER CHARMS WARNER BROS.

Written by British author J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter books have charmed audiences worldwide--and now Harry has conquered Hollywood, too. Warner Bros. pictures is getting ready to film their adaptation of the first Harry Potter novel, with the movie set to be helmed by director Chris Columbus ("Young Sherlock Holmes," "Bicentennial Man"), and it's sure to be, if not a predetermined hit, then at least a source of curiosity for Harry Potter fans, which already number in the many, many thousands. Casting calls, author info, and more are being funneled through this site; so keep your wizard's eye out here for further info on how Harry's first movie is progressing.
