Top » Food & Drink: WineTASTING NOTES: MARK SQUIRE'S E-ZINESite: http://www.marksquires.com/tns.htmThe remarkable thing about these tasting notes is the depth of wines represented. Mark Squire certainly loves wine, and has tasted a whole lot of it! The pages are organized in archival order--which is a little odd, as it's not very important to us readers when he tasted the wine-- so you may spend a bit of time hunting around for the particular vintage you want to read about. Your best strategy is to use your browser's "search" function on the summary/contents pages for each year. Nevertheless, it's worth having a look, because the notes are thorough and as accurate as wine-tasting could be. This page is useful when scouting around for new wines too; for example, I read through a section of California reds from the spring of 2000, and as a result I added a couple of pinot noirs to my "I'd like to try that one!" list.
