Sarah Jane English is a writer with four wine books to her name. She is acknowledged as an expert on Texas wines, but her horizons spread far wider than the borders of her home state. If you fly Lufthansa, Air France, or Cathay Pacific, you will have read her wine columns in their inflight magazines, and you may have seen her on PBS. Her monthly newsletter demonstrates her finger is definitely on the vineous pulse. It is lengthy, authoritative, detailed, and packed with quotes she has gleaned from winemakers around the world. Her main site has information about her books and a calendar of wine events. But you'll want to visit for the newsletter. It's the best I have seen.
