With the start of the 2000 hurricane season, preparation and knowledge is more important than ever. The US National Hurricane Center tracks hurricanes and tropical storms across the globe. At their website, you can find up to date satellite pictures, printable tracking charts, and aircraft reconnaissance reports. There's also interesting information on past storms, like lists of the most expensive and most intense hurricanes in recorded history. This is an interesting site when there are no hurricanes around--and a potentially lifesaving site when there are.
