The Vocabula Review is a monthly journal "about the state of the English language." Grammarians and editors probably love this site, but if you care at all about English, its rules, and its usage, you'll find this journal's analyses to be educational and thought-provoking. If you're the kind of person who hates it when someone corrects your grammar, however, then it's probably better to steer clear. Every page on this site welcomes you with the quote "A society is generally as lax as its language," and this journal can come off as a bit heavy-handed in its efforts to uphold proper language usage. A worthwhile site if you love the English tongue. Archives are available online.
