If you are planning to be in the Finger Lakes area, this is a great site to visit before you go. It offers a map of the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, and a tour that leads you to 40 different wineries in the Finger Lakes region. Even if you are not visiting the Finger Lakes, this site might be of interest. Many of the sites also offer a virtual tour, which means you can do about a third of the trail right from home. Many of the sites also offer valuable information about wine. Lamoreauz Landing, for example, offers recipes and a guide to matching wine with different meals, while Bully Hill provides tips on getting your wine bottle opened.
