Trojans and Virii and Worms, Oh My!

If you are like the thousands of other Internet users, you have probably received an e-mail warning about some virus threat or another. It can be hard to tell if the threat is real or hype. I found just such a warning in my in-box this morning. I fired up my browser and headed the Internet Security Alliance to see if they had any info on this new worm, VBS.Timofonica, in their hype or hot list. Not only did they have it, they had an assesment and an explanation of what the worm does (and does not do) that was only a day old. I do appreciate these people. They bring me up to date information that is well organized and have a website that is nicely designed and refreshingly easy to navigate.
