A One-Hit Stop

Site: http://www.executivelibrary.com

To me, it's not only helpful to have tons of stuff available all on one site, but it's also highly entertaining. After all, when one needs a break from researching or referencing, a quick little diversion can be very welcome. The Wall Street Executive Library, despite its dry-sounding name, offers many such diversions: links to numerous United States and international newspapers and magazines, as well as publications on television and radio, and computers and technology. One can also be connected to top financial, business, educational, and general search engines, and people finders. I could go on and on listing all the externals--like the Productopia, the Cyber Atlas, the Librarian's Internet Index, and the National Geographic Maps--but I don't want to denigrate the Executive Library's very solid main reference section, which is also a one-stop hit. It not only contains traditional reference materials such as dictionaries, a thesaurus, and the Britannica, but also currency converters, an acronym finder, a style guide and grammar book, industrial classifications, and a worldwide holiday calendar. An exhaustive--and exhausting!--reference site.
