THE I-CHING EXPERIENCE

The I-Ching is an ancient Chinese oracle used for divination. It is a complex system that takes years to learn--longer if you don't read Chinese. The site is modeled after a real I-Ching session, where you are asked to throw a Chinese coin six times to get your reading. Depending on how the coins turn up (head or tails), a total of six lines will be obtained from the tossing of the coins to get an image of a Chinese hexagram. This hexagram is the basis of your reading and a translation from the ancient Chinese text is provided for your perusal. So it's up to you to reach your own conclusions about it. Real I-ching readings obtained from true practitioners are far more intricate in nature--this site is meant to be more fun than serious. And it succeeds!
