The Chinese were not alone when it comes to harnessing one's inner energies. Qigong and Indian Kundalini are, in some ways, similar, but the methods used to awaken this energy are different. At the Kundalini Resource Center, a group of devotees have banded together to develop a website that can answer some of the questions about this ancient practice. Navigation-wise, this website takes a bit of guesswork. You have to scroll down to the bottom to get to the menu and links. The FAQs will generally answer most of your questions on how Kundalini can be awakened. The articles are helpful, but the meditation exercises here seem to be geared towards focusing your thoughts rather than cleaning them. It requires quite a bit of visualization, which may prove a challenge for those who find it difficult to concentrate. The site is helpful and there is even a mailing list that you may subscribe to, should you wish to pursue this ancient study further.
