HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS POSING AS POLITICIANS?

Ever watched the Presidential debates and thought "I could do better than that"? Well, now you've got a chance to prove you can--that is if you're a US high school student. Part of PBS's "Democracy Online," "Build Your Own Campaign" is a competition for students and teachers, allowing them to take part in a mock campaign. Winners get an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington to participate in a one week civic education program. For the rest of us, it will be fun to see whether high school kids manage to behave better than Gore and Bush on the trail!
