Time to wake up?

In DM News, Mark Kvamme, chairman of USWeb/CKS, writes an article entitled, "Time’s the Enemy in Digital Economy." He makes many valid points, however, he mentions that "dot-coms don’t play by the same rules as traditional businesses, and they don’t measure success by the standard return-on-investment yardstick," but I don't think that dot-coms will have that luxury forever.
