WINE, WOMEN, AND SONG

In the 1850s and 1860s, music halls celebrated the very essence of wine with ballads such as "Another Glass Round" and "We All Get Jolly As the Night Wears On." Many examples of Victorian song sheet covers praising wine are displayed on an Internet site dedicated to antique wine. The visitor can browse the galleries of barrels, corkscrews and obsolete wines. There are also galleries dedicated to bottles, glasses and "tastevins" (which are still available today)--and don't miss the impressive collection of decanter labels dating as far back as 1790.
