DON’T CALL ME CHICKEN—-I’VE GOT A PHOBIA

Most people are afraid of something. While it is hard to imagine a body builder standing on a chair screeching at a mouse, even they get the stomach flutters at some situations. Perhaps a person gets nervous at dinner, wanting to make a good impression on the other diners. But where is the line between normal nervousness and having deipnophobia? This site won't give you the answer to that question, but it will give you the name to just about any fear you can imagine. This is the granddaddy of all phobia lists, culled from reference books and medical papers, and it makes quite interesting reading. But don’t visit this site if you are highly suggestive! You might just come away with a new list of your own phobias.
