Take Off Those Pirate Eye Patches & Look!

Ar-r-r...Heads up all ye pirates and take heed! This website is one for you to visit frequently, especially if it's going to be your company treasure chests that will be emptied if you get caught practicing online piracy. The acceptance of the "I didn't know it was going on" defense, has dissipated with the "slap on the wrist punishment" that used to be meted out. Prepare to pay big bucks--and I'm not talking dubloons here. Personnel who mean well and "borrow" legally purchased and licensed software from one department and then try it out in another before spending the money for more software, need to know that this isn't a good idea anymore. Why? Well, we all know it gets forgotten--sometimes conveniently--and the purchase of the additional software never happens. That's a very expensive no-no if you get caught. So, take off the eye patches that have to be on both of your eyes for you not to see it in your company. Then, batten down the hatches mate and belly up to the software counter and "stay legal"; it has to be cheaper!
