HandSpeak.com contains an online graphic dictionary of American Sign Language. This online dictionary is provided free for anyone to facilitate the communication with the hearing impaired. It contains over 2,800 signs, and is growing daily. You can browse for a particular word by either category or by letter of the alphabet. Categories range from animals to colors, and from numbers to places. Once you find the word of particular interest, click on it. An animated picture will appear in the middle of the page. An actual person (via GIF animation) will be performing the word in sign language. Along with the instructor are directions concerning your hand shape, location, movement, and more.
