SAPONIFICATION SIMPLIFIED!

Saponification, the art of turning tallow (fat) into soap, is no slippery subject at this site! There are complete, step-by-step instructions for everything, from making your very first bar of soap to recipes for goat's milk soap, marshmallow bar soap, and even a "Faux Neutrogena" variety. The author of the site is very humble and apologizes for the quality of her pages (though I found them to be clean and easy to access). She advises us to check back often for "improvements." There are also links to web pages and books on the subject, along with a page dedicated to meeting other soap makers, where you can post a bit about yourself.
