Today's bodybuilders are pumped up to look like cartoon characters, with overblown muscles and necks like tree stumps. During the Victorian period, bodybuilders pumped iron in order to resemble Greek statues. You can see these beautifully sculpted bodies in the amazing restored Victorian muscle champion photographs.
