PHOTOGRAPHING SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSES

Site: http://www.mreclipse.com/MrEclipse.html

If, as a kid, you ever sat and wondered what went on near the dark side of the moon, then check out this site, which bills itself as the "ultimate resource for eclipse photography." The site offers a virtual universe of information about photographing, both the solar and lunar varieties, with a primer section chock full of interesting information, including advice on eye safety. The site has predictions concerning future eclipses, as well as maps that give the locations (including travel tips) as to where you can find optimal eclipse visibility, and consequently, take the best photographs. There is a link to NASA's eclipse home page, and there are several galleries that display many stunning images of these planetary events, both past and present. All in all, this URL goes a long way to acquaint us with the world of eclipses, and more importantly, eclipse photography.
