Here is an unusual and interesting website combining artists and golf. Yes, golf! It features several noted American and European artists, along with biographies, examples of their art, and descriptions of their likely golf-playing methods, based on their artistic styles. Visitors can participate in a simulated fantasy golf tour or take time to absorb their paintings, backgrounds, and the "philosophical approaches of the artists." Truly an original concept, well planned, and well presented. Among the artists: Arthur Dove, Barnett Newman, Albert Pinkham Ryder, Francis Bacon, Marcel Duchamp, Juan Gris, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Piet Mondrian. It's worth a visit, and probably more than one.
