internships - a good way to start

If you're looking to break into the scene of your new career of choice, you may need to "pay your dues." Often, a little sacrifice today can pay off in big rewards down the line. At this site, read stories of people who are doing just that; interns have posted descriptions of their experiences for you to get a sense of what it takes. Find out how they found their internship, what/whether they were they paid, what sort of responsabilities they had, and what they learned. Beyond this, I think the best thing you can do is to contact interns by e-mail if you want to find out more. And when you have an intern experience of your own to share, don't forget to post it on this site for the benefit of the next generation! Matthieu Negre
