It shows us the proportions we should eat various food groups in. At the bottom are breads, cereals, rice and other grains, which should comprise the largest part of our diet. Then come smaller amounts of vegetables and fruits. Next comes even smaller amounts of meat and dairy products. The top of the pyramid is made up of very small amounts of fats, oils and sweets. The question is, what does YOUR pyramid look like?
