Greenspan did not mention the financial markets, but concentrated his comments on the importance of teaching technology skills in the classroom. Today's schools, he noted, often teach little more than keyboarding and researching on the Internet. Educators must be adept at their own computer skills and teach students all facets of the World Wide Web. College graduates today can expect to hold many jobs in their lifetime, a much different scenario than that of their parents' generation, and their most important skill will be to be at the top of their game, technology-wise.
