Weight training is an essential part of any athlete's conditioning program, but if you're training to be an Olympic wrestler, it's as crucial as breathing is for living. Les Gutches personal site has an incredible section on weight training that gives scheduling by day, body part and number of reps. I got sore just reading it. If you're unfamiliar with Gutches, just check out his bio page--he's every wrestlers worst nightmare. A combination of brainy technique and trained and toned brawn, Les is preparing to take on the world's best this year at the Olympics.
