Temari Balls

Japanese Embroidered Thread Balls--that is what these are. Beautfully handcrafted balls made out of different types of thread and ribbon, where only the imagination is the limitation to what you could create. The tradition of these balls began over 600 years ago. There are full instructions on how to create your own, and maybe even master the art and receive your own certificate from the Japanese Tamari Association. They may be used one by one or in groups to make a beautful color-filled basket, or try something new for Christmas this year--they make outstanding Christmas ornaments!
