CHERRY MAN!

At my bar, we always tease one of the server's who loves to snack on maraschino cherries. "They preserve brains in the juice!" we tell her. As a kid, I remember people telling me that cherries were stored in formaldehyde. Out of curiosity, we decided to check it out online. That's how I came across Cherry Man! At this site, you will learn that no, cherry juice is not used to store brains. Nor do they cause cancer. There is a tour of the maraschino plant, taking you through the process from orchard to jar, as well as a recipe section. There is also a FAQ and history section that will give you lots of cherry trivia. At 10 calories a pop, cherries might not be the healthiest snack, but at least they're harmless!
