Top » Education: Reference & LearningFROM THE DRUIDS TO CLAN KELTOISite: http://www.celt.net/Celtic/menu.htmlInterest in Celtic history and mythology has increased over the past several years, and this Celtic encyclopedia is a reflection of our fascination with Anglo-Saxon folklore. Since these legends have come down to us primarily via oral communication, and thus are open to interpretation, Celt Net has attempted to cite at least two authors for each entry, so readers can formulate their own analyses of fact versus fiction. Also accessible online are complete texts and manuscripts, such as the Anglo Saxon Chronicle as translated by Rev. James Ingram; Myths and Myth-Makers as interpreted by John Fiske; The High History of the Holy Graal as translated by Sebastian Evans; and Rob Roy, by Sir Walter Scott. Other categories include Gods and Myths, Heroes and History, Artisans, Modern Celts, and a Calendar with information on Celtic festivals and events, a national calendar for Ireland, and Celtic day and month names.
