There are more of these recipes floating around the Web than you might imagine. Ireland's stout Guinness brew, with its multifaceted flavor, lends itself well to cooking all sorts of things, from pot roasts to ice cream. (That's right, ice cream!) At this particular recipe site, you'll find Old World delicacies like Beef and Beer Stew, a heavy, hearty mixture that goes well with lots of beer-yeast bread.
