The author of this website has done what many try and can't achieve. Footer takes you into his life, his love of barefoot waterskiing, and makes it personal and very readable. His section on learning to barefoot is wonderful. He has covered 20 topics using pictures and words together. Even a neophyte to the sport can understand it when illustrated in this manner. From step-off to tricks like surface hops, these pages make it crystal clear. I had a great time reading Footer's background; he has a fabulous writing style and you feel like you are going through it all with him--even the accidents!
