CHARLTON HESTON: MOSES LIVES!

Charlton Heston is best remembered for his portrayal of Moses in the Ten Commandments. True, he also is president of the NRA, but there isn't any mention of that on this fan site. If you love Charlton Heston, you'll enjoy the many rare photos of him from various stages in his career starting with a 1950 B&W from the television production of The Willow Cabin. The mini-bio show puts Heston's birth at 1923 in Chicago. Besides the exploration of his film career there are reviews of books Heston has written. This includes, "In The Arena: An Autobiography" published in 1995. Even more interesting is the book written from his own personal journal detailing his life and career from 1956 to 1976. His last book was written to his grandson and is called "To Be A Man--Letters to My Grandson." Who knew he was so literate? This site offers a wonderful view of a long career, but don't look for anything critical. This is simply a fan site, and after all, Heston was MOSES!
