Volvo P1800--In Pictures

I grew up hearing my father lament the loss of his Volvo P1800. Many times have I heard the story about how a car pulled out in front of him one day in Birmingham, and that the driver of that car turned out to be his own dentist. I've heard him talk about how he had the car fixed, and that it never drove right after that, so he sold it. He regrets doing that now, because P1800s are so rare. I've only seen a couple on the road myself. So, when I ran across this site, I sent him an e-mail with a link so he could see his lost love again. There's very little text, but there are plenty of pictures. What makes the Volvo P1800 unique is that it was Volvo's first (and last for a while) attempt at building a sports car.
