XIANG QI--THE ART OF CHINESE CHESS

This interesting site is devoted to teaching Xiang Qi--the Chinese form of chess. You must sign up with a name and password to enter the Xiang Qi tutorial, which teaches the art of Chinese Chess using interactive media. The tutorial is thorough and explains the board and pieces, game rules, opening and ending moves and strategy. Once you learn, you can then enter the GameChat and play Xiang Qi in Java. This is a nice site with the additional benefit of sections relating to the art, literature and history of China.
